BEHIND THE LENS

 

My name is Emily Aaland. I'm a mom to my beautiful son, Miles (and our 120 pound dog, Baloo), and a wife to my amazing husband, Nick. I graduated in 2008 with a BFA in Photography from St. Cloud State University and completed a photography course in London, England. That led to immediately getting an office job for a health insurance company. Makes complete sense, right? I'm still working full time but have finally gotten back into my passion of photography. I am a natural light photographer and prefer to shoot outside or in your home. I would be honored to step in to your life for a day and capture it's prescious moments.
